But, that stretching after, is more valuable because is calms the muscles and here’s the thing - It allows the brain to integrate the workout (the event) so the body does not receive the workout at a trauma. Basically, the study found brain integration after a workout is what gives real flexibility. 💪🏼

There’s a lot of research on cleansing (ie juice or ‘master-cleansing’) - From what I gather, the break is good for our bodies, but the results are very short lived. Eating, hydrating and elImInatIng properly and consistently are far more favored than cleansing. But people do it any way - because the willpower it takes gives people something artificial to be proud of. Also, there’s a natural buzz when you cleanse. So people can get hooked on that.
