I had the pleasure of meeting John in 2005 in the mortgage industry, we have been close friends ever since. Such a smart hard working business man but what I admire about him the most are his ethics.

Thank you Sally. Just like John I’m a bit of a serial entrepreneur as well. My core businesses are in the tech hardware space and located in Silicon Valley but I also have a hospitality group in Seattle with Club, lounges, and restaurants in its portfolio, a clothing line and retail boutique in Seattle, shares of a start up electronics company in San Diego, and a real estate holdings company with most of its positions in Las Vegas.

I definitely got my entrepreneurial mindset from observing my father and uncle. The small businesses they started and operated were always a topic of discussion when they were together. Business has always intrigued me

@Emily yes both my parents were Entrepreneurs, my father had a cab company & my mother owned a candy business. I learned most from my mother watching her build her business for 20 years.

@Sally I have noticed that when there is some sort of revolution/new platform or technology there’s a new wave of businesses that will jump on the opportunity to be early adaptors. The internet brought us the dot com boom and crash, lack of mortgage regulation brought us the housing rush and crash, even the iPhone brought us an entire world of mobile apps, and most recently social media has brought us influencing and monetization of followers. I think this is totally normal and it always provides for new found opportunities amongst businesses as well

The most exciting thing I’m working on right now, not to give up too much and potentially break my NDA, but it’s a new company in the wellness/supplement space, uses a non conventional delivery system, and will have CBD versions as well. It’s very exciting because it allows me into the CBD space which I have very high expectations for.

@pouya there are so many factors that come into play when I’m choosing a business partner but to pick 3 I would say 1) trust (I know it’s vague but it’s still a driving factor if interpreted signs tell me I question my trust for someone then I just can’t get myself to work with them) 2) have to have the same goals 3) dependable

@Willis Most exciting thing for me is a multimedia studio we are building here in Las Vegas & some of the partnerships we are developing with the networks here Like Fox Channel 5 & Channel 8. CBD fluid as well is another exciting venture.

@sally When I first got into the mortgage business I met John and instantly learned so much from his dedication and commitment to any task at hand. What I took away from our first meeting was his shining positive attitude. It didn’t matter what was happening John would take it in with a humbling attitude and all smiles

@Sally when we worked together in the mortgage business I was blown away at the successes Shervin already had, he was super sharp, funny & committed to take on anything in front of him. Even though Morgages was new for him he smashed it out of the park. In regards to the CBD venture I would just ask what demographic he is targeting and what his goals are & what his plan of action is to execute the new project.

I think social media is a necessity for almost all industries in today’s market. If the following isn’t preexistent that’s not a deal breaker but building the following and retaining it through engagement are necessary

@Emily I agree with Mr Roohparvar I’m grateful for the opportunity to share on your platform. Excited to be doing this with Shervin as well. He has such a big hart and he is such a great example to us all of what is possible in life with some hard work and dedication you can accomplish anything you set your mind too.
